We are one of the most successful and forward-thinking School Centered Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) providers in the North East of England with a proven track record of outstanding results and employment rates.

In 2016, Ofsted rated North East SCITT (formerly Shotton Hall SCITT)as 'outstanding' for our primary and secondary teacher training provision, the highest accolade achievable. We are now one of only a handful of providers in the North East of England judged to be outstanding in both phases of teacher training.
